Agricola
AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access) is a bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library and its cooperators. Production of these records in electronic form began in 1970, but the database covers materials in all formats, including printed works from the 15th century. The records describe publications and resources encompassing all aspects of agriculture and allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, and earth and environmental sciences. 

AMED Allied and Complementary Medicine
A unique bibliographic database that covers a selection of journals in complementary ("alternative") medicine, palliative care, and several professions allied to medicine. Allied and alternative medicine is increasingly accepted worldwide. Many health care professionals are interested and want to know more but are unsure where to look. AMED is the answer. AMED is an invaluable resource of Allied and Alternative Medicine covering a wide variety of topics in this growing field. AMED covers relevant references to articles from around 512 journals, the majority of which are in English. A large number of these tiles are not indexed by any other biomedical sources. In addition to the specialist journals on AMED's subjects, a range of key general journals are checked for relevant articles. As well as the basic bibliographic information, each record includes index terms using the AMED Thesaurus and an abstract summarizing the article being cited. 
Coverage 1985-Present. Number of records: 152.000 (12.000 records added annually).

The U.S. National Institutes of Health, through its National Library of Medicine, has developed ClinicalTrials.gov to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies.

Entrez cross-database search
The ENTREZ Global Query Cross-Database Life Sciences Search System will allow a user to either enter a search to be run simultaneously against a set of ENTREZ's (NCBI or NLM) databases or, for the more experienced user, to go directly to an individual database's Search page. The system is composed of two main pages: an initial Search Page and a Results Page.

Excerpta Medica/ Embase
The database for Excerpta Medica, EMBASE is the leading international biomedical and pharmacological resource where you'll find up-to-the-minute information on medical and drug-related subjects. Notably the database of choice for drug-related searches, EMBASE includes author abstracts in 80% of its citations. Subscribers can access its extensive coverage of biomedical and drug-related literature including selected information from more than 4,000 journals. 

Free MEDLINE: PubMed and Internet Grateful Med

On June 26, 1997, NLM announced that its MEDLINE database of more than 8.8 million references to articles published in 3800 biomedical journals may be accessed free of charge on the World Wide Web. Two Web-based products, Internet Grateful Med and PubMed, provide this access. Grateful Med er dog siden lukket i 2001.

ISIHighlyCited.com - Home
ISIHighlyCited.com reveals the face of research--the people behind the accomplishments in 21 broad subject categories in life sciences, medicine, physical sciences, engineering and social sciences. Locatorplus Home Page
LOCATORplus is part of NLM´s new integrated library system (ILS) which was installed for in-house use in November 1998. The ILS is being used for acquisitions, serials control, cataloging, collection management, circulation and preservation. LOCATORplus is the ILS's online public access catalog and serves as the retrieval engine for the Library's cataloging records, replacing existing online access methods, such as Locator, CATLINE, AVLINE and SERLINE

NCI's CancerNet Cancer Information
CANCERLIT® is a bibliographic database that contains more than 1.3 million citations and abstracts from over 4,000 different sources including biomedical journals, proceedings, books, reports, and doctoral theses. Produced by the National Cancer Institute's International Cancer Information Center, CANCERLIT has been in existence for more than twenty year and contains references to the vast realm of cancer literature published from 1963 to the present. CANCERLIT is updated with more than 8,000 records every month

NLM Gateway Search
The NLM Gateway allows users to search in multiple retrieval systems at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). The current Gateway searches MEDLINE/PubMed, OLDMEDLINE, LOCATORplus, MEDLINEplus, DIRLINE, AIDS Meetings, Health Services Research Meetings, Space Life Sciences Meetings, and HSRProj.

OT Seeker
OT seeker is a database that contains abstracts of systematic reviews and randomized controlled trials relevant to occupational therapy. Trials have been critically appraised and rated to assist you to evaluate their validity and interpretability. These ratings will help you to judge the quality and usefulness of trials for informing clinical interventions. In one database, OT seeker provides you with fast and easy access to trials from a wide range of sources. 

PEDro
PEDro is an initiative of the Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy (CEBP). PEDro is the Physiotherapy Evidence Database. It has been developed to give rapid access to bibliographic details and abstracts of randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and evidence-based clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. Most trials on the database have been rated for quality to help you quickly discriminate between trials which are likely to be valid and interpretable and those which are not.

PHYTOMED
Bibliographical database of national and international sources on phytomedicine (plant protection, phytopathology and stored products protection) of the Federal Biological Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (BBA), Berlin and Braunschweig, Germany. PHYTOMED includes literature citations, partially abstracted, from 1 500 national and international sources (specialist periodicals, monographs, dissertations, offprints, proceedings, annual reports etc.) from 1965 to 1995 inclusively.

SveMed+
SveMed+ är en bibliografisk databas med referenser till artiklar inom det medicinska området. En del av materialet är av mer populärvetenskaplig karaktär. Förutom biomedicin bevakas patientinformation och icke kliniska aspekter av hälso- och sjukvård. Tidstäckningen är från 1977 och framåt. Databasen produceras vid Karolinska Institutets Bibliotek. Det äldre materialet kommer från databaserna Patrix, Spriline och Swemed. Huvuddelen av materialet är på svenska och engelska, men en del dansk- och norskspråkigt material förekommer också. Vissa databasposter innehåller hypertextlänkar till externt material (abstracts, fulltext o.d.)
